Erik C. “Rick” Nutter, Jr. Attorney
Rick Nutter has been practicing law since 2005, and is the founding Shareholder of Nutter Law Group, P.A. For almost 20 years, Mr. Nutter has been litigating matters involving property insurance disputes, construction defects, premises liability, products liability, trucking accident cases, wrongful death, and medical malpractice. He has litigated in both state and federal courts, and has tried cases to verdict in numerous counties in Florida.

Mr. Nutter is often called upon to give presentations and lectures to other lawyers, construction and insurance professionals, and consultants. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in Florida and the United States District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida.
Rick Nutter was born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in Dallas, Texas. He returned to Florida in 1996 to attend the University of Florida, where he received his bachelor’s degree in 2000. He continued his education at Stetson University College of Law, where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2003. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Stetson University in 2003.
Mr. Nutter resides in Tampa with his wife and daughter.
